Lindy DeKoven
Lindy DeKoven is CEO & Founder of Lindy DeKoven Coaching, which specializes in Entertainment, Sports and Politics.Lindy DeKoven was Executive Vice President, Miniseries and Motion Pictures for Television, NBC Entertainment and NBC Studios. DeKoven organized, built, and led the NBC Entertainment Longform Division to eight straight season wins as the top rated broadcast network in Longform programming.
DeKoven played an important role in enhancing the quality of made-for-television programming with artistic and commercial triumphs that included the Emmy Award-winning "Merlin," "Gulliver's Travels," "The Odyssey," "The Temptations," and "Serving In Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story" as well as "A Woman of Independent Means," "The 60's," "The 70's, "Asteroid," "Noah's Ark," "The Beast," "Crime & Punishment," and "Pandora's Clock." DeKoven also oversaw the highly successful Monday Night Movie franchise.
DeKoven was President of DeKoven Entertainment, a television production company, associated with Paramount Television. DeKoven was Executive Producer of "Listen Up," a comedy starring Jason Alexander for Paramount/CBS, and the pilot, "Mermaids" starring Sela Ward, for Touchstone/ABC. Other pilots include, "Bones," "The Bobby Knight Show," and "Waiting," for CBS. Previously DeKoven produced the pilot, "The Sweet Potato Queens" starring Delta Burke for The WB.
DeKoven was Vice President, Movies and Miniseries, Warner Bros Television and Director, Network Television Development, Walt Disney Television.
DeKoven was appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to the California State Parks & Recreation Commission. Schwarzenegger re-appointed DeKoven to the California Commission on the Status of Women, where she serves as Chair. She also serves on the Board of the Governor and 1st Lady's Women's Conference of California.
DeKoven served on the Board of Trustees of the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association, the Museum of Television Executive Roundtable, The AFI Second Decade Council, The AFI Women's Directing Workshop Advisory Committee, Hollywood Radio & Television Society Board Member, and Women In Film Executive Committee.
